How to make people mutilate themselves to get your products

This is why I think scientists are freaking insane, but…

Sometime in 2013, at the University of Virginia, they conducted a study by electrically SHOCKING participants until it was SO painful, they would pay money never to be shocked again.

But then:

They took those same participants…

… put them in a room…

… a totally empty and boring room…

… with nothing but a boring ol’ chair and table…

… and the electric shock button.

In case you didn’t get me:

No, they couldn’t use their phones, there were no books, no furniture, no games. No nothin’.

But they were told to just sit quietly.

And just do nothing.

For 15 minutes straight.

Halfway through the 15 minutes, 71% of the guys got so ‘antsy’ and bored, they just couldn’t take it anymore and started smashing down on the electric shock button… The very same electric shock button that was SO painful, they said they’d pay money not to ever get shocked again.

One guy even shocked himself 190 times!

But that’s how bad the average person is at dealing with boredom.

And a lot of people think ‘boring’ your customer is a ‘bad’ thing.

But truth of the fact is:

This ‘psychological trigger’ of boredom is SO powerful, people will even mutilate themselves just to get away from it.

And I believe this is one reason why, stuff like lower-res, lower-quality graphics and design have been proven… through thousands of split-tests over the years… to convert WAY better than high-quality, very polished graphics and design. It just bores you until you have to read and buy something! And yes, this means that using AI to generate beautifully stunning graphics is probably… killing your conversions. Unless you’re selling those graphics.

(I can’t help making my stuff nice, design is in my blood, unfortunately)

But:

I also remember this filmmaker guy.

He was famous for making some very viral documentaries, like “The Truth About Cancer” with Ty Bolinger I believe (a must watch, by the way), and…

… I was watching an interview with him.

He also helps companies do VSL launch videos.

And he said that lower-quality, less ‘souped up’ VSLs almost always do a lot better than highly-polished, Nat Geo documentary-style ones. They just sell way more for some reason. Probably because they force you to focus on the message instead of the imagery.

At any rate:

My point is that…

There’s a lot of psychological triggers that can make people do ‘seemingly weird’ things you wouldn’t expect.

Stuff like giving yourself a world of hurt.

Or wounds.

Or even death.

But one of these very specific ‘triggers’ I talk about in the Billion Dollar Bonus Formula, doesn’t make people hurt or kill themselves to get your offer, unlike the triggers many cults use to cause self-inflicted harm…

BUT:

It can, and sometimes does, make people…

… kill other people…

… just to get what you’re selling!

And I go into a little more detail on how you can use this trigger in your products and bonuses in a very ethical way, that won’t leave you liable to legal responsibilities like manslaughter. But based on my experience, it can very easily double, or even triple your sales. And leave your customers feeling happier for it, too. Just like how your favorite billion-dollar brands use it to get you to unknowingly (and happily) buy stuff you probably didn’t want to buy.

But if you haven’t checked it out yet, you can relieve your boredom now by shocking yourself here:

P.S. If you’re wondering what else is inside my latest handwritten work, here’s a little taste of my blood, sweat, and snot-filled tears:

  • An ordinary bonus that bumped recurring revenue conversions for an eCom supplement brand by 85%, adding an extra $22,000 in monthly continuity income instantly.
  • A high-ticket super affiliate who bumped conversions by up to 4x, raking in an extra $9.8 million in just 8 days, all by using a strategy called ‘bonus hybridization’.
  • The local Italian contact lens store that ‘swiped’ their revenue upwards by 75.95% in just 30 days with a bonus that cost them almost nothing.
  • How one single, very simple eBook increased this marketing agency’s conversions by 25.9% (and if you don’t know how marketing agencies work, they typically charge a high-ticket, monthly recurring service fee if you wanna work with them)
  • The sneaky ‘Elon Musk-inspired’ bonus a Rewards program added to their ‘app’ that generated an instant 10X explosion in their sign-ups (if you’re creating apps, this is one of the smartest things you can do)
  • How a skincare eCom business rocketed their conversions by a whopping 90% with a bonus SO obvious, not using it cost them almost half their sales!
  • The ‘Premium Power Tools’ bonus technique a British hardware store used to increase their Average Order Value by 22%, and their conversion rates by 31%!
  • If you’re selling ebooks: How a ‘lazy’ web developer, whose ‘inner sloth’ didn’t wanna create videos, used this ‘bonus stack’ trick to raise his ebook’s price from $29 to $99, generating over $35,000 in just 3 weeks with only 1,721 email subscribers.
  • My personal case study of how I used ‘multi-modal’ bonuses to 5X my conversions on an SEO SAAS app campaign, making me an extra stream of 4 to 5 figures in passive monthly affiliate income… for years!
  • Are you in the art niche? Here’s how an art supplies website increased Average Order Value by 38% in just 3 months using (very) ‘cunning’ interactive pop-up bonuses.
  • The high-ticket coach who shot his FB Ads ROI all the way up to 4,034%, quickly netting him another $32,000 in sales, using ‘no-work-upfront’ bonuses.
  • How a pet-niche affiliate DOUBLED his conversions on a dog training course in just a matter of days using AI-generated bonuses.
  • The super simple ‘ebook bonus’ method that made this CRO expert in the food/cooking niche an extra $68,000 in monthly recurring revenue, amounting to an additional $816,000 in recurring subscription income a year! (You might not believe this, but it was just ONE ebook. Yet another example of ‘strategy’ over ‘quantity, which is what ‘No to Yes’ bonuses are designed to do…)
  • A gym owner who 10Xed his monthly memberships, all by adding an ‘irresistible’ bonus stack. (And, if I might add, you can do this to get more sign-ups for almost any monthly subscription you sell)
  • If you sell anything related to kids: How a children’s retailer spiked sales by 10X, and Average Order Value by 51%, simply by advertising their bonus instead of their offer!
  • And more…

Again, you’ll find all the details in my personally (and painstakingly) handwritten sales letter right here:
