The easiest way to build hard to copy businesses

“Life is easy if you live it the hard way, and hard if you live it the easy way.”

~ Eben Pagan, 9-figure business and marketing coach

Several moons ago:

I discovered and mastered the skill of SEO.

A skill I quickly used to rank at the top of search engines, driving boatloads of traffic (and paychecks) to a viral little blog I created. In a niche with very little competition.

Actually, there was no competition!

I was the only one there.

An advantage that very easily let me rake in $2,000 a day in affiliate commissions.

However:

I soon realized that…

… instead of spending the whole day working…

… I could use my process engineering chops to compress…

… a whole day’s work, down to just 30 minutes to an hour.

And this was long before AI.

But that insight alone turned $2,000 a day into $2,000 an hour. And eventually… $2,000 in half an hour!

But then, disaster struck.

Because…

… since the niche and business model I was profiting from were SO freaking easy, that meant it was just as freakishly easy for unethical crazies from third-world countries like Vietnam to simply copy me, do what I did, but with lots of added lies and black hat deceit, to steal the traffic away.

Of course, they didn’t steal away all my business…

… but…

… it was a pain in the butt having…

… more and more people coming to your site everyday, and just simply copy everything you do wholesale because of how brain-dead simple the business was!

But this got me thinking:

“Looking for easy niches, easy businesses to build… just ain’t cutting it. It’s easy to make money, but easy to lose money once everyone and their grandma starts copying you. Since I’m so good at ‘process compression’, why don’t I build extremely difficult to copy businesses instead, but using my skills to make them SO quick and easy to do internally, that no one will be able to copy me. Because I’m the only one who knows how to do it the easy way.”

And thus began my approach of…

… taking really hard (but simple) businesses…

… that very few people want to do because there’s easier options out there…

… and figuring out how to personally (and privately)…

… make them easy (very easy)!

An approach that was first mastered by probably history’s greatest manufacturer, the Japanese car company Toyota, and which they freely and generously shared with world… to the point that… it was eventually adopted (sometimes partly, sometimes entirely) by companies like Harley Davidson, Amazon, Tesla, General Motors, Boeing, John Deere, and more.

Including…

… even some of the world’s most notorious con artists, scam artists, and criminals, who are constantly looking for ways to get ahead, and stay head.

Though not entirely.

But more of the psychology of the approach.

A fact I’ve been discovering recently the more I dive into the psychological weaknesses that let people get scammed for some or all of their money. And how to prevent it.

And something I talk about more in my new work…

… on how to quickly and easily ‘scam’ your brain into getting things done 10x faster and easier than anyone else (even if they use every AI model out there)…

… the progress of which…

… is currently at 68% done.
