“You can use a lot of different technologies to create something that doesn’t really have a lot of value.”
~ Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario & The Legend of Zelda

I read a study showing how…
… cars today are SO slow because of all the traffic…
… especially in big cities…
… that, based on the average speed of cars right now…
… even your average horse from the 1800s would easily outrun it by miles, and miles, and miles!
And get you to your destination way faster.
More:
I also read a new study recently. It showed how the latest thoroughbred horses in the UK are slowly getting a little faster every year. And I suspect that, eventually, you’d be able to get back and forth to work in minutes if you used these horses instead of the hours it takes to commute there by car.
And so it goes for almost every latest ‘tech’ innovation.
It starts out looking pretty cool.
Looking pretty dandy.
But eventually (and actually a lot faster than most people think), because of how many people start adopting the same technology, it gets SO crowded and so slow, that you’d be better off (and faster off) just doing the same thing by hand!
Or by foot.
Or by horse. Or however they used to do it in the old days.
But it reminds me why…
… old-school marketers like Godfather of Marketing, Dan Kennedy, who still don’t even have an email address, don’t use the internet, and are still using the fax machine to communicate, are…
… tens of millions (and probably hundreds of millions) of dollars richer than the average ‘new gen’ kid marketer who…
… has every tech at their disposal but…
… is still struggling to break a million!
Maybe even $100k.
But:
Not every ‘new gen’ kid though.
Because many of the millionaire YouTube ‘kids’ I study under are relatively low-tech. To the point that… they don’t even use AI voices in their videos!
Why?
Well for one, it’s a pain in the butt to get AI to do the right intonation and inflection when speaking. And you have to tweak it again and again to get it right. Or you won’t ever go viral.
But in the time it takes you to do that…
… they’d rather just speak the whole script themselves.
Other than that:
YouTube is doing a huge crackdown on AI voices right now.
Which is why some of my ‘kid mentors’ no longer use them at all. And they just hire voice actors to do all their video scripts. Because, while you might get lucky and go viral using an AI-generated video with ElevenLabs voice, your luck only lasts until the algorithm finds you and ‘slices’ your channel’s ‘head’ off.
Voice actors are way simpler to use these days.
With better quality voices too.
Just a little tip…
… so you don’t get ‘scammed’ by unscrupulous entrepreneurs promising you you’ll go viral with their new “Instant Viral Video Generator”.
But:
It also reminds me of the wisdom of some of the smartest companies in the world right now (and probably in history), like Nintendo, Toyota, and more.
Who almost never adopt new ‘tech’ trends.
Choosing instead to figure out new ways to use old, proven, basic tech. Instead of taking risky ‘quality control’ bets with new, unproven, expensive technobabble.
To the point that…
… they have almost zero competition…
… because they’re not swimming in the bloody red ocean all the ‘tech adopters’ are ‘hunger-gaming’ in.
But still raking in record earnings.
While creating their own revolutionary ‘new’ (but actually old) tech that consistently blows people’s minds.
Plus:
I suspect too that… Toyota’s controversial approach of choosing to pursue hydrogen fuel… is going to be a game-changer that transforms energy efficiency… way more than the trend in battery-powered electric cars. With their hydrogen fuel tech rolling out across some small vehicles in Japan right now. And with plans to start selling hydrogen fuel cells in supermarkets. Where anyone can drop in and buy one to refuel without any charging.
At any rate:
This is also why all the latest breakthroughs I’m pursuing are in the field of new ways to use centuries-old, proven, fundamental ‘marketing tech’ that almost everyone has forgotten about (but I still remember because I consistently read incredible marketing books from the 1600s, 1700s and 1800s).
Been spending a lot of time innovating new ways to get superior results with these ancient, forgotten ‘tech’ recently.
Results that could ‘whoop the pants off’ your ‘run of the mill’ AI-tech that everyone is fighting over.
And this includes…
… my latest research on…
… One-Minute Word Hacks!
Forgotten hacks that the most legendary marketers in history have been using for centuries. To instantly make content almost impossible to ignore, impossible to stop reading. But which ‘smart millionaire kids’ on YouTube have also adopted (by trial and error) into their viral marketing too. And almost all their content.
Which I’m doing too.
But if you want more results, leads, subscribers, sales, from whatever content or copy you’re creating, whether it be text, audio, video, or even images…
… with a lot less effort…
… stay tuned because I’m dropping it in one more day, once I put all the finishing touches on it.
