Sealing away the sales snakes in your customers’ psyches

Please don’t try this at home:

When me and the wifey were out for a stroll in the garden just now, we suddenly heard something move.

But when we turned around, we finally saw what it was.

It was a huge, green, slimy snake!

And it quickly slithered into one of the pipes that made up our vege garden’s scaffolding.

“What do we do?” the wifey asked me.

I looked around, trying to come up with a plan.

“Hmm… I got it. Let’s take this huge block of wood that’s lying around, and seal off the pipe so it can’t come out!”

So we quickly did that…

… all while the snake kept peeking its head out and staring at us with a vengeance.

But:

After closing up the serpent inside, and trying to seal it away for a thousand years (or at least until it starved so we could dump the pipe out and get rid of it more easily), we suddenly had a strange thought after getting back in the house.

“How long can a snake live without food?” the wifey asked.

“Hmm… not sure? Should we Google it?”

And so we did.

The answer?

Up to a year!

We stared at each other in amazement. Looks like it wasn’t such a good idea after all. So we tried to think of something else without going to the hassle of calling the fire department over right now.

Half an hour later:

“Wait!” I said in epiphany, “How long can snakes live without WATER?”

“No idea. Google it.” The wifey replied.

And we did.

The result?

Depends on the species. But most are gone within two weeks.

Ok… that’s WAY better!

But it reminded me of something very important:

Because this is very similar to the method that the billion-dollar financial newsletter company, Agora, uses to take random bums off the street who know nothin’ about marketing… and train them into million-dollar copywriters in just 6 to 12 months. And if you don’t know anything about Agora, 95% of their billion-dollar business is nothing but copywriting.

So it’s basically ‘life or death’ for them.

They’re ‘forced’ to make copywriting SO simple (to keep a continuous pipeline of copywriters), that they made it so easy that anyone can become a million-dollar ‘copy god’.

Now, the process they use to do that is a closely guarded secret.

One that’s normally only shown to new hires.

But why do I know about it?

Simply because…

One of the most important parts of it is focusing on the complete opposite of what almost every other copywriter focuses on.

Because most people see someone successful on YouTube, and just try to copy the first guy who resonates with them.

When I want to master a new skill quickly, I spend hundreds of hours going through thousands of experts, books, courses, videos, and more… looking at every single successful person in the niche and and everything they say and do, so that…

… I can find which of them has the simplest process…

… that anyone can do!

Then I focus 100% around that.

Similar to what Agora does.

Because I don’t do complex stuff (I try not to, at least)…

But:

Because while Agora’s ‘bum-friendly’ technique of ‘sealing away the snakes’ with copywriting is great, easy, and obviously works like gangbusters… the downside is it takes time to learn, 6 to 12 months… after which you become a millionaire who can quickly make people take out their credit card and buy on demand with simple little words.

But I asked myself how I could make this simpler.

So I didn’t have to wait 6 to 12 months to get all the results…

And I could start seeing a lot of the results sooner.
