One guy I spend lots of time studying is Albert Einstein.
Why?
Well, not just so I could take his theories on the space-time continuum and build myself a time machine.
Neither is it to discover his secret to being a human ‘magnet’ for the ladies, who were constantly almost ripping each other’s throats out just to get his attention.
Taking time to study the way he thinks…
… and his approach to creativity?
It’s part of it.
But one of the biggest reasons?
To study the genius marketing methods he used…
… to promote himself!
For example:
I once read an analysis piece showing that it was no joke that Einstein became the most famous scientist in history. To the point that his name itself is now synonymous with ‘intelligence’. There were tons of brilliant scientists during his time. Who made lots of interesting breakthroughs.
But none of them achieved the ‘cult status’ he did.
Why?
Well, one theory that I strongly agree with was that…
… consciously or unconsciously…
… he was a master at marketing and copywriting!
And yes.
There are people that are born with more ‘natural-inclination’ to it than others. Doesn’t mean that you can’t learn it all on your lonesome. Just means that some people got a head start on you.
And you have some ‘catching up’ to do.
For example:
The analysis I read showed how…
… Albert Einstein routinely used two very ordinary words…
… when marketing himself…
… but whenever he did…
… it made him extraordinarily famous!
And it’s something I talk about in my upcoming new report.
But probably:
His ability to constantly attract the ladies, with even Russian spies falling for him from what I’ve read, was much on the same vein.
If you ever thought that stuff like this happens by accident…
… or because you’re super intelligent…
… it doesn’t!
It’s all marketing.
Another example:
When I was still a young pup fresh in design college, getting my degree (which was my 3rd or 4th one at the time, I think), I did it because I’m absolutely smitten by beautiful design and aesthetics. And I thought by studying under top designers, I could create stuff that made the world around me much more satisfying to my tastes.
However…
… while design is extremely important…
… especially process design…
… stuff like user experience design and what not…
… after studying under one of my design professors for some time, who was (and probably still is) Canada’s number one designer, a lady who laid the ‘smackdown’ on top designers across the country by winning design contest after contest against all of them…
I discovered that it ain’t just design!
Because:
From all the stories she told us of her triumphs, and dissecting them so we could learn from it, I discovered that at the very top… it’s not about design anymore. But about how well you can market yourself and your designs!
Yes, it’s all marketing.
Why do you brush your teeth every night and morning?
Because a genius marketer named Claude Hopkins wanted to sell toothpaste, and devised an ad so clever that people everywhere started brushing their teeth.
It’s all marketing.
Why do kids barely out of puberty makes hundreds of thousands of dollars, and in many cases millions, creating viral videos on YouTube while their parents and their friends’ parents and even their teachers at school ‘slave labor’ away making pennies and struggling to pay the rent?
I’ve spent years studying YouTube.
And all the ways you can go viral and generate lumps of traffic from the site.
But it wasn’t until I started studying and mentoring under some of these ‘kids’, who got me to start downloading viral video transcripts, printing them out, and underlining each sentence word for word, and studying the psychology behind them that…
… I discovered they were using time-tested, proven, psychological copywriting principles and…
… yes, regardless of your age…
… making money in any way, shape or form, is …
… all marketing!
But:
Not all marketing is equal.
There’s marketing that’s a pain in the butt to do.
Lots of work. Very little results.
While there’s marketing where… tiny little twists and turns get you… disproportionately huge amounts of money and traffic.
Thus, my research into one of these little ‘easy hacks’.
Specifically:
One-Minute Word Hacks.
Tiny words that, scientists say, literally force your brain to pay attention, and keep reading or listening till the end. Words that post-puberty millionaire kids on YouTube sprinkle around like candy, like Einstein once did. And that can make any content, or sales copy, you create infinitely more effective for very little effort.
Even if you’re a lousy writer.
Or speaker.
And even if you don’t create content with AI.
Or even if you do.
Anyways, I’m dropping these little nuggets in another 2 more days.
So stay tuned…
